For over two decades, we have developed stabilization strategies for approximately 219 hospitals and/or anesthesia groups and departments in approximately 41 states.
As well as our consulting business and our involvement with organized medicine, Asa had an active anesthesia practice in Tyler, Texas for 39 years as well as an MBA with an emphasis in healthcare that brings validity and insight to the challenges facing many anesthesia groups and hospitals.
Asa founded and served as the program director for the American Society of Anesthesiologist’s Certificate in Business Administration Program that spanned almost two decades and trained over 1,200 physicians in basic business skills in 10 modules and ~100 hours of instruction.
He also served 23 years on the Texas Delegation to the AMA and spent 8 years on the AMA’s Council on Medical Services with his final year serving as the Chair.
In recognition of his public service, he was awarded a commission as an Admiral in the Texas Navy by the Governor of Texas and became a member of the Sam Houston Squadron where he was later elected as their Commander. He had the honor of being the lead vessel for the USS Texas Echelon as it transited the Houston Ship Channel to Galveston. In 2023, he became a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and the Sons of the American Revolution.
We plan to continue our tradition of providing excellent healthcare strategies and solutions to communities across our nation.
